Accounts Payable and Payroll Assistant – Sandyford, Dublin 18
Our client are a well-established and successful specialist construction company and are now recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable and Payroll Assistant. This is a full-time office-based role in Sandyford, Dublin.
Salary: Up to €40K DOE.

ROLE:
-
Monitor emails for the accounts team.
-
Purchase invoice processing / Match POD‘s to invoices
-
Reconcile creditors statements monthly / Aged Creditors
-
Set up new Suppliers/Customers as required.
-
Keep PO list up to date.
-
Accounts filing and archiving.
-
Credit Card Input & Reconciliation.
-
Expense Card Input & reconciliation
-
Post RCT to ROS weekly & monthly
-
Post Customs Duty Journals monthly
-
Weekly Payroll & Timesheet analysis
-
Ad hoc duties as required
REQUIRED:
-
2-3 years‘ previous experience in an account‘s environment with a solid understanding of bookkeeping.

Ability to work to agreed deadlines and be flexible in approach.

Candidate should have excellent numeracy and communication skills, be self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.

Fluent in English both written and spoken.

Good IT skills – MS office and company systems. Good excel skills are essential.

Previous experience of SAGE 50 essential.

Previous experience of construction, although not essential, may be advantageous.
