Recruitment Plus on behalf of our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team in Co. Monaghan. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm.

€30,000-€40,000 €DOE

Accounts receivable

• Daily banking reports

• Allocating payments received

• Invoicing on Transport software

• Importing invoices to Sage

• Credit control

• Dealing with customer queries and credit applications

Accounts Payable

• End to end accounts payable

• Accounts Ad hoc duties as required.

• Ensure accurate coding of all purchases to the correct nominals.

• Assist with month end closing.

• Dealing with phone calls and E Mails from suppliers and chasing the invoice approvers internally where invoices have not been passed

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Applicant needs to be able to work as part of a team.

• Attention to detail is a must.

• Must be proficient in excel.

• Prior experience using Sage is desirable.

• Proficient in data entry and management

• Demonstrated pro-active, practical & flexible approach to work.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and use discretion to multitask accordingly.
