Salary: €DOE plus performance bonus

Location: Co. Kildare

• Hours: 36-39 hrs. weekly (Weekend work when required)

Note: This is a 56-bed unit.

Description of Role:

Our client a Nursing Home Group based in Kildare are actively looking for an ADON.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• You will report to the Director of Nursing.

• Will assist the Director of Nursing in the overall operations and day to day running of the home.

• You will assist the DON in the efficient management of resources, the assignment of work and monitoring the quality of work performance of staff

• You will assume the role of person in charge in the absence of the Director of Nursing. The post is full time and permanent following a probationary period

Requirements:

Must have 3 – 5 years experience in a similar role.

• Must have management experience

• Must be registered with ABA

• Previous HIQA Inspection experience

• Ability to communicate at all levels

• Fluent English

• Must have Valid work visa

• In depth knowledge of implementing HIQAs policies and procedures

• In depth experience of mentoring junior staff in care plan implementation .

• Previous HIQA Inspection experience

• Genuine interest in working with the elderly
