Care Coordinator, South Dublin

Our client are recruiting a full-time Client Care Coordinator to join its scheduling team. This role can be performed from either their Dun Laoghaire or Dundrum offices. This is a great opportunity to join an established but growing company with a strong reputation in the homecare sector.

Salary:34,000 – €40,000 DOE

The Care Coordinator‘s responsibilities will include:

  • Ongoing maintenance of Clients daily and weekly Carer visits

  • Meeting Carers and working to create regular and sustainable Client visits for them, identifying suitable and available Carers for New Clients

  • Scheduling of daily rotas and forward planning including managing holiday and sick leave, using our specialist rostering software to ensure effective utilisation of Carers time

  • Communicating regularly with Clients and managing their expectations

  • Live monitoring and updating of the Carer App

  • Dealing with ongoing variations or changes to Clients scheduling requirements

  • Dealing with ongoing variations or changes to Carers availability to work

  • Communicating effectively on all routine and emergency situations in a calm, reassuring and decisive manner

  • Working closely with Care Managers and Quality Managers to understand the requirements of Clients and Carers for effective matching

  • Participate in the On-call rota after an initial settling-in period (approx. one weekday evening per week for 3 months on and 3 months off)

 

Experience/Skills Required:

  • At least three years of professional working experience

  • A minimum of one year‘s office experience in a fast-paced environment

  • A minimum of 6-12 months in a rostering or scheduling role ideally in homecare

  • A proven record of independent and collaborative teamwork

  • High level of interaction and communication in previous role

  • Health sector experience or qualifications – preferred but not essential

  • A genuine interest in the homecare industry

  • A positive and resilient personality

  • Experience working collaboratively within a small team
