RecruitmentPlus has a new opportunity for a Catering Equipment Engineer in Dundalk, Co. Louth. Working as part of a busy team, this site-based role will provide an excellent platform in a supportive, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repair, and installation of catering equipment.

Location: This position is based in Dundalk, Co. Louth and is commutable from Down, Meath and parts Monaghan.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Servicing, repair and installation of catering equipment to a high standard

• Completing, and updating all related reports/documentation on the database

• Carry out work professionally per assigned daily work schedule the day

• Ensure customer satisfaction with works carried out

• Advising customers on products and usage

• Working closely with the office service team and spare parts

• Working to customer service levels ensuring their food service equipment is repaired and returned as quickly as possible

• Drive the implementation of engineering best practice processes, procedures and tools that maximise effectiveness and efficiency

• Ensure compliance with the relevant health and safety regulations

• Communicate effectively and efficiently with product manufacturers and suppliers to identify the correct parts.

• To demonstrate high standards of working practice and a flexible approach with the ability to work on own initiative

Person Specification:

• Experience working on commercial catering equipment essential

• Electrical diagnostic skills

• Full driving license

• Basic IT skills are desirable

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Reliability and team player
