Job Title: Customer Service Order Fulfilment Team Lead – Medical Distribution


Salary: Neg on experience (€48-50K+ package).

Location: West Dublin/East Kildare


Description of Role: Our Client is a very successful medical device and health technology distributor with excellent proven track record in developing excellent working relationships with their customers. As part of further growth and development they are now looking for a Customer service order fulfilment manager to lead a small but dynamic CS team. Working very closely with the Operations Manager, the Customer service manager will be at the centre of ensuring a smooth customer experience, liaising with finance, warehousing and sales teams to ensure processes are optimised and best in class. Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for leading, developing and coaching the customer service team to ensure an outstanding customer service and experience is delivered

  • Lead and establish best in class order fulfilment processes including order capture, order processing (including credit considerations), delivery and shipment execution and complaints management

  • Establish KPI‘s aligned to the business strategy to measure, improve and drive customer service performance

  • Establish and manage customer relationships ensuring appropriate service level agreements are aligned with strategy

  • Partner closely with Quality, Finance, Purchasing and Warehouse to ensure a seamless transition of new and obsolete products

  • Partner closely with Commercial and Finance to ensure customer pricing is agreed and successfully implemented at pace

  • Optimise and identify improvements in ways of working within the team and between Customer Services, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure end to end customer service is delivered effectively and efficiently

  • Meet all internal & external compliance responsibilities including Quality, Regulatory and finance requirements




Suitable candidate will require:

  • 4-6 years operational experience in a dynamic distribution/manufacturing organization (preferably medical devices/pharma) with experience in an operations environment that handles specialist and technical products/services

  • Experience in leading and motivating others to create a high performing customer services team and culture

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Pro-active and collaborative approach, able to build strong relationships both externally and internally

  • Experienced in using ERP systems
