Description of Role:
Our client, a global precision engineering company manufacturing, supplying and distributing cutting tools to leading industrial companies, is now seeking Customer Services Representative, with German, to join their team in Cavan.
This successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality transaction processing to all of our client‘s global customer base.
The candidate must be good at handling requests from around the world and have very good customer relation skills. The ability to communicate confidently with all areas of an organisation (Production, Postproduction, Despatch, Engineering etc.).
Key Responsibilities

Acts as main point of contact for all customer’s transaction support activities

Provide Stock availability & price information as requested by customers

Processing orders received by phone, email, fax or via various e-commerce/electronic channels
-
Ensure all orders are handled professionally, quickly & accurately
-
Issuing accurate sales order confirmations to customer in a friendly, professional way
-
Responsible for actively managing SAP suggested delivery dates on orders to minimise number of shipments and reduce cost to serve.

Identifying back order/ out of stock items, proposing alternatives where appropriate

Liaise with Key Account Customer Support, Customer Success, Technical, Sales & Pricing Teams if there are any issues with order or specifications.

Identify and escalate potential issues or exceptional orders to team management

Attendance at regular team meetings

Contribute to making company a “great place to work”, working as a team and assisting others

Develop a good knowledge of key systems: SAP, Sales Cloud, Front, Kianda, Power BI, Office365

Possess a strong knowledge of Group‘s Customers, Products, Systems & Processes
Requirements:
-
Must have a minimum of 2 years Customer Service / data entry experience
-
Good organisational and time management skills
-
Comfortable with working in a fast paced & often pressurised environment
-
Must be meticulous – paying great attention to detail
-
Very good knowledge of German.

Good communication skills and a desire to deliver a great service to customers
-
Possess a cheerful outlook & problem-solving approach
-
Qualified to Junior Cert or GCSE standard
-
Pass grade required for Maths & English
-
The role demands a good degree of IT proficiency ideally demonstrated by an ECDL qualification or similar.
This position is office based however may require a customer site visits from time to time, along with occasional trade show participation in international locations.
