Job Title: eCommerce Implementation Manager – Hardware/Homeware industry.
Salary: Neg on experience €60-70K+
Location: West Dublin/Naas Road.
Description of Role: Our Client is a well known Irish company established over 70 years with an excellent name for quality and reliability. Selling into the home decor, hardware and trades‘ industries, they have several channels to market including wholesale and retail partners.
Due to excellent further development and growth they are actively adding to their team and are currently hiring an eCommerce Implementation Manager.
The eCommerce Manager will be responsible for the development of the Digital journey across sales channels. The role will be to provide direction and strategy to support the growth of Digital Sales both Directly and Indirectly.
They will drive the overall performance of the website, mobile app. and digital channels to ensure our customer journeys are amazing by executing world-class content and merchandising experiences across our campaigns, collections, and key product launches.
Managing all on site promotional activity you will be responsible for merchandising on product pages as well as landing page content and navigation changes. You will collaborate internally and externally to create unforgettable customer experiences and drive digital sales.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
To deliver online promotional and product launch campaigns that commercially differentiate us from the competition
To develop and manage our own website, mobile app. and digital estate updates in line with wider business marketing calendars
To plan, schedule and execute online promotions.
To create content briefs and campaign assets for our creative studio.
To plan and produce calendars for new product launches and promotional campaigns.
To manage creation, updates and QA of relevant category and campaign pages.
To collate omnichannel content assets from marketing team for campaign and product detail page updates.
To liaise and collaborate with external suppliers and agencies along with internal teams such as trading managers & buyers.
To work closely with studio & production team on product enrichment.
To manage coupon creation for affiliate partners and networks.
To manage merchandising on the website by creating and maintaining sorting rules by categorisation.
To conduct A/B tests of any rule driven merchandising.
To manage and configure onsite upsell and cross-sell merchandising opportunities in conjunction with the Head of Sales.
To manage seasonal product category merchandising of product list pages
To create elevated key product detail pages
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time in line with your skills and competencies.
Ecommerce Manager will have strong commercial acumen, be data
passionate, and have great attention to detail.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 4/5 years relevant eCommerce experience, in a similar role, preferably in a trade/ retail environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills internally and externally with the ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders across the business.
Operational experience with eCommerce platforms, Content Management Systems and Digital Asset Management systems.
In-depth understanding of premium eCommerce product display standards.
Experience of styling of premium technical and retail products.
Experience of executing online sales campaigns.
SEO / Copywriting experience – (desired, not essential).
Proven ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Analytical/attention to detail
Communication skills – oral and written
