This role will work with the Maintenance and Engineering managers to schedule maintenance around the production plan and projects with the aim to deliver optimum outputs and build a reliable CMMS system. While still being available to get hands-on when required, it‘s a great opportunity to advance within your maintenance career.

Easily commutable from within counties Meath, Cavan, Louth, Monaghan, Armagh and Westmeath.


  • 3+ years relevant experience within a heavy manufacturing environment.

  • Be Fitter Trade Qualified and/or Qualification in an Engineering Discipline to degree level or willing to complete.

  • Knowledge of CMMS.(PEMAC)

  • Proven experience managing a range of operational responsibilities and can project manage.

  • Excellent data analysis skills with strong ICT skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Is enthusiastic and takes a hands-on attitude.

  • Can write detailed repair reports, can lead groups of people, has excellent verbal communication and strong presentation skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Scope the full extent of all maintenance works required to conduct the relevant repair/ preventive / predictive / design-out activities on the organisations plant and equipment.

  • Maximizing equipment reliability through most effective planned maintenance.

  • Schedule maintenance work into the plant production plans.

  • Develop cost and time-based estimates of planned maintenance work, including overtime, contractor, and component costs.

  • Write applicable maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality whilst incorporating a clear EHS mode into work practise.

  • Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant, and equipment.

  • Able and competent in root cause failure analysis leadership and investigations.

  • Ensure KPI‘s are captured and reported for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance and planning and scheduling business flow process.

  • Participate in World Class Manufacturing processes and projects.

  • Ensure all team compliance training is up to date.

  • Ensure adherence to all EHS activities.

  • Other duties as required.
