Financial Controller S011027

The Financial Controller will be a pivotal part of the Senior Management team for a rapidly growing business.

The ideal candidate will be pro-active and comfortable interacting at all levels from the ground to C-Suite.

Location: Louth

Key duties and responsibilities of the role

• Managing all finance and accounting operations of the site

• Prepare annual statutory accounts and reports/act as a key point of contact for external auditors

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts in line with Group Reporting requirements

• Ensure quality control on financial accounting and reporting

• Monitor business performance by adequate KPI‘s and variance analysis

• Work closely with Site Management and Division Finance Function to identify and solve Controlling aspects of the business

• Preparation of annual budgets/financial planning

• Assume responsibility for VAT process.

• Analysis and sign off, of monthly/weekly payroll.

Requirements of the role

• Qualified Accountant with +5 years‘ experience and a proven history in financial accounting, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, always maintaining accuracy.

• Ability to take ownership, be pro-active and achieve desired results is key

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident and articulate

• Ability to work in a team environment

• A natural leader with the ability to build strong and longstanding relationships

• Ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining a consistent level of quality

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong IT skills – proficient in MS office applications

• Experience of using NetSuite
