Job Title: Management Accountant/ Financial Controller Part-Time (15-20 hours/week)
Salary: €65K pro rata, plus bonus
Location: Candidates should be based in South Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Kildare or Carlow to allow for on-site meetings as required.

Our client, an Irish healthcare distributor, is a dynamic and fast-growing company with a proven track record of success and ambitious growth plans.
Due to excellent business growth they are now looking to add to their team and bring on a management accountant / financial controller in a part-time capacity.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with robust experience and knowledge of import/export finance.
This opportunity would ideally suit an experienced accountant looking for a part-time role that will allow for good flexibility but also offers the opportunity to be part of the leadership team. Managing an accounts assistant, the role will require candidates to have at least 5 years management accounting experience, be commercially savvy and enjoy being involved in strategic decisions.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for growth and development with significant autonomy. It may suit candidates who, for whatever reason are looking to step back their working week, but keep involved at a senior level within a small organization.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for the complete finance section of the company, including:

Cashflow forecasting & Budget preparation
-
Supervising:
o Accounts receivable
o Accounts payable
-
Producing year-end accounts and management accounts as required
-
ROS – maintaining revenue compliance
-
VAT Returns
-
Expense management
-
Banking
-
Payroll
-
Providing the year-end accounts to external auditors.

Formalising SOP‘s for all finance processes to align with new accounts package.
Who are you?
Candidates must be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Demonstrate a good understanding of importing goods for resale.
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent decision making and able to work with others
Managing imports & exports; Customs & Excise
Good competency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

Previous experience with Enterpryze ERP based on SAP and Bright Pay (Payroll) would be a distinct advantage.
