Medical Sales Representative – Surgical Products

Territory: South Dublin, West Dublin, South Leinster

Products: Theatre and Surgical products.

Customers: Hospitals – Theatre Managers, Theatre Nurses, Surgical Teams, Procurement.

Our Client is a successful medical device distributor which represents an impressive range of global brands sold into surgical hospital theatres. A recent expansion has resulted in their need to add to their team and recruit a new Medical Sales Representative to cover a South Dublin, South Leinster territory.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with 3+years medical sales experience ready to join a larger company and gain added responsibility and opportunity.

This position may also suit a nurse with surgical theatre experience and good commercial skills looking to take their first step into a dedicated medical sales role.

Essential Requirements for the Role

  Educated to third level or equivalent standard, Ideally nursing or life science qualifications.

  Strong commercial background demonstrated by previous commercial achievements (ideally at least 18 months sales experience).

  Previous experience selling into a hospital environment, with previous experience spent in a theatre environment is very advantageous.

  Goal orientated, independent and commercially driven

  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  Excellent planning and organisational skills

  Flexibility to adapt plans to suit business demands

  Strong negotiation skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  Promotion and selling a range of products which are Global Leaders to Irish Hospitals.

  Developing excellent business relationships with all of our customers is a key element of the role

  Demonstrate the highest professional standards at all times

  Have extensive knowledge of territory and competitors which results in a high level of business management on territory

  Increase overall sales volume of products with high sales calls rates within a designated regional territory by attaining or exceeding established sales objectives

Salary ~€50K + bonus, company car, pension + additional benefits.
