Description of Role: Our client is a medical device distributor, in business over 20 years, with a proven track record of bringing excellent quality products to Irish hospitals. This role will be responsible for a portfolio of surgical and medical products and devices.

Candidates with original nursing/life science qualifications together with >3 years+ medical sales experience are of particular interest. It may also suit a nursing or life science graduate with strong commercial acumen looking to develop their career in medical sales.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for selling a portfolio of surgical, medical and infection control products into acute hospitals. Territory covers hospitals in South Leinster, Midlands and part of Munster.

The role will involve managing relationships with clinical staff, surgeons, anaesthetists, infection control nurses etc. to build on the excellent reputation of the organisation.

Requirements:

Candidates will ideally have:

• Degree in life science /nursing (previous surgical/theatre/critical care experience of keen interest)

• Passion for medical sales and an energy and enthusiasm for development.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work with a wider multi-disciplinary team

• Excellent Commercial acumen
