Job Title: Hospital Sales Specialist, South Dublin, South Leinster – 4 day week

Salary: Neg on experience

Territory: South Dublin/South Leinster.

Description of Role: Our Client is a multinational pharmaceutical company, long established in Ireland with a small but dynamic team. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced hospital sales representative working on a 4 day week basis, promoting a range of products within the areas of infectious diseases, microbiology and gastroenterology. Previous Hospital Pharmaceutical and Key Account Management experience is essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure full and cost effective coverage of customers within the territory in line with an agreed journey plan.

• Maintain required standard of product knowledge and therapeutic area technical knowledge

• To carry out, in liaison with the MD, territory planning in order to achieve regular and maximum coverage of targeted doctors.

• Plan to sell and exceed sales targets in line with agreed objectives and priorities.

• Detailed adherence to company promotional policies in detailing and meetings with customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

Potential Candidates will ideally have a nursing, life-science or business degree with 5 years+ hospital sales experience. Previous experience within infectious diseases or microbiology a distinct advantage.

In addition Candidates will be/have:

• Self-starter with excellent organisational and planning skills

• Highly motivated to achieve goals with a focus on delivering on customer needs

• Ability to manage and plan time and promotional budget to achieve maximum impact and exceed sales targets

• Excellent listening and questioning skills

• Ability to act on own initiative

• Excellent presentation skills
