Human Resources Coordinator


Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid home and city centre office based).


Please note: This is an urgent hire and therefore candidates are required to be CURRENTLY based within reasonable commuting distance of Dublin city centre.


Salary: 30-35K depending on experience.


This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who is looking to gain experience in all aspects of Human Resources.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full range of HR and accompanying administrative processes including recruitment, payroll, compensation & benefits, absence/leave monitoring, and some reporting.

The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively to support the wider HR team towards the achievement of the organisation‘s HR strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will establish positive and productive relationships with other Departments and build strong relationships with staff at all levels.


Main Duties & Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will carry out the following duties in line with the organisation‘s standards and strategic objectives as directed by the Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources Manager.

  • Act as the first point of contact for the HR Department and work to build trusting, open and authentic relationships.

  • Point of contact for all end to end transactional elements of Human Resources for staff across the Society through the HRIS; including recruitment, on boarding, employee relations, performance management, managing leave, administering the pension, managing retirement etc.

  • Support the Director of Human Resources in organising events, preparing documents and materials for weekly Executive Team or other meetings, and any other administrative support needs as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Education


  • Educated to post graduate level, with a HR degree or related third level qualification

  • 1-2 years relevant HR experience.

  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent level of attention to detail

  • An ability to work with integrity on his/her own initiative and as part of a team and be proactive in achieving project deadlines

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Flexible and capable of undertaking multitask driven work

  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines
