Job brief

To provide a professional HR service supporting and advising line management on all aspects of the employee journey in line with company policy and procedures. Support the HRD with implementation of HR initiatives across the division.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a confidential HR service, with support, advice and guidance to Line Managers

• with all people related matters in accordance with company policy and procedures.

• Be present at disciplinary and grievance meetings, make accurate notes and ensure relevant follow up.

• Support managers with absence management processes.

• Support managers with recruitment activity on site including the selection interview.

• Provide local employee induction for new starters across site.

• Maintain employee personnel files and HR folders, ensuring they are kept up to date;

• Carry out all core HR administration & onboarding processes effectively, including offers of employments and associated administration.

• Be responsible for the employee retirement process on site, ensuring company procedures are followed.

• Responsible for the collation of HR metrics and statistical information for mandatory reporting requirements across the division.

• Assist with the compilation of statistical and headcount reporting data.

• Ensure people compliance standards are maintained on site.

• Support the HRD with ad hoc projects and initiatives as and when required.

Requirements

• 4 years plus HR experience in an Irish manufacturing business
