Role: Human Resources Information Systems Specialist (HRIS)

 

Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid home and city centre office based).

Please note: This is an urgent hire and therefore candidates are required to be CURRENTLY based within reasonable commuting distance of Dublin city centre.

The successful candidate will have strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills and will thrive on managing a busy workload and concurrent projects. As the HRIS will be the face of the IS system they will need excellent interpersonal skills to develop productive relationships with staff at all levels within the organisation.

 

Main Duties & Key Responsibilities

 

HRIS

  • In collaboration with the HR Manager and Director the HRIS specialist will create a HRIS project roadmap for the advancement and development of the system.

  • Lead the deployment of the system‘s functionality and self-service model, leveraging automation where possible;

  • Drive daily and weekly employee communication using best in class technology, applications, employee events and regular updates;

  • Manage the HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet the requirements of projects within the HR Department;

  • Act as the “super user” for the HRIS;

  • Responsible for on-going HRIS process improvement, optimisation and ways of working post implementation – investigate ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation and streamlining;

  • Trouble shoot issues as they arise and liaise with the system provider support to effectively and ensure resolution when external support is required;

  • Act as a point of escalation for the Executive Team and the HR team for queries relating to the HRIS.

  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance of the HRIS – this would include weekly and monthly employee changes updates such as new hire sets ups, issue of new hire login and system info, document uploads, time off changes, and archiving leaver profiles;

  • Responsible for all HRIS related communications

  • Responsible for ensuring HRIS is kept up to date at all times to ensure accuracy of data;

  • Responsible for keeping up to date on best practice advances in both HR technology and HR analytics, and using this to inform relevant HR approaches;

  • Act as a valued team member by supporting other members of the team when delivery and deadlines are pressurised

 

Data Analytics & Projects

  • Support the HR Director by applying expertise in data analysis and the presentation of data to help inform, influence, support, and execute decisions relating to people strategy;

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual people dashboards and ensure that they are produced automatically and that they are accurate;

  • Manage multiple HR system/communication related projects that may require input from cross-functional Departments;

  • Assist with internal and external surveys;

  • Support the HR team with HR reporting requirements as they arise;

  • Responsible for maintaining the highest level of data integrity by conducting data audits.

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Previous experience of HR system project implementation;

  • Previous project management experience;

  • Working knowledge of Bamboo HR/Cezanne HR highly desirable;

  • Previous experience driving effective and ongoing internal communication;

  • 2 – 5 years‘ experience working in a similar role;

  • Thorough understanding of the full HR lifecycle and associated processes;

  • Knowledge of employment law in Ireland;

  • Excellent IT skills – Microsoft 365 (incl. excellent ability in Excel);

  • Excellent written and verbal English;

  • Strong analytical skills;

  • Highly organised person – ability to juggle day to day responsibilities and projects concurrently;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Excellent attention to detail;

  • Ability to work on own initiative and possesses drive to get results;

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines;

  • Flexible and adaptable.

 

Salary Neg on experience (Range €45-50K)
