RecruitmentPlus, on behalf of our client, are delighted to be recruiting for a IMS Coordinator. This role will be a pivotal part of the team, responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the business on all aspects of Compliance, Environment, Energy, Quality, Health & Safety, and Wellbeing.
A key part of this role will be delivering training and conducting internal auditing.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Upto €45k DOE plus benefits pension, healthcare scheme, 23 days AL incremental with service
Role / Core Responsibilities:

Management representative for site Management Systems
-
Ensure that activities are planned and designed to support the organisation’s strategic vision and mission.

Responsible for the management of company compliance, safety, health, wellbeing, environmental and energy improvement schemes.

Management of procedures, controlled documents and records.
-
Management of the site audit schedule and responsible for conducting internal confirmation audits.
-
Adopt the Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology when conducting non-conformity, accident and incident investigations.

Monitor, evaluate and review existing, new and upcoming legislation and ensure that systems and procedures are in place to meet legal compliance.

Management of the site certificate and statutory training trackers required for ISO / legal compliance

Monitor and measure compliance performance, across all Teams and Processes, using the relevant tools, systems and spreadsheets;

Report any issues or potential issues which you find or are made aware of

Contribute to the development and regular review of the Compliance Risk Assessment document;

Undertake Internal Audits on a regular basis, covering the company‘s Controls, Processes and Procedures, to help identify deficiencies or opportunities for improvement

Conduct training for new and existing staff and new start inductions
Requirements:
-
Previous experience of working within Compliance or Health & Safety a must, within in a factory/manufacturing environments desirable

Experienced user of various IT programmes, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-
Experienced carrying out, and assisting with audits to ensure compliance across all areas
-
Previous experience with delivering training is desirable, however this can be developed.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels.

A high level of attention to detail, organized and a methodical approach is critical to the success of this role.
