RecruitmentPlus has an excellent opportunity for an Insurance Service Administrator based in Dublin 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for Assisting in the smooth and efficient operations of the department in ensuring a high quality of service.


Salary; Negotiable depending on experience.

Requirements or Skills:

  • QFA qualification or Accredited Product Adviser (Life) qualification is desirable

  • Experience of working in a Life Assurance Call Centre – desirable

  • Knowledge/experience of life insurance market – desirable

  • Good computer literacy skills

  • Flexibility

  • Excellent organisation skills

  • Must be able to work on own initiative in addition to being a good team player


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Handling day to day calls from customers

  • Processing New Business applications and recording the customer records accurately and efficiently on the system

  • Dealing with the Processing of Policy Alterations as required

  • The maintenance of an orderly filing system

  • The preparation of various reports as required from time to time

  • Handling day to day processing of claims submitted ensuring claims are processed accurately and efficiently

  • Dealing with the Processing of Declaration of Health Forms as required

  • Inputting data, accurately and efficiently, on to the database

  • The maintenance of an orderly filing system

  • The preparation of various reports as required from time to time.

  • To assist in the administration and efficient processing of renewal notices, processing mid-term endorsements, responding to queries and to follow up with customers as required.

  • To deal as necessary with telephone enquiries and general correspondence in a timely manner and to take complete ownership of such queries as required.

  • To assist with the identification of customer expectations and to seek to meet and exceed these where possible

  • To execute such special projects relevant to his / her area of work as may be assigned from time to time

  • To undertake such other reasonable and lawful duties not specifically mentioned in this job description as may be directed from time to time by the Supervisor/Manager

  • To ensure compliance with any Fitness and Probity requirements set down by the Central Bank of Ireland.
