Description of Role:


Our client, a healthcare distributor, is now seeking an internal sales manager to join their busy and successful sales team. This role has come about as a result of growth and internal promotions. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales manager or sales team lead to work with a very successful and thriving SME. Managing a team of 7 (internal sales executives and sales administrators), this role will require an enthusiastic and energetic sales manager who enjoys collaboration and developing teams. You will be joining a high performing team, engaged and enthusiastic in their roles.

This role will suit a team leader who is comfortable working in an open and collaborative organisation, who is ambitious to develop further and lead a commercial team.

Our client has experienced very solid growth and has clear growth goals over the next couple of years. This is a very genuine opportunity for an ambitious manager to be part of the senior management team and help steer that success.




Ideally candidates will have:

  • A proven track record in sales together with 4/5 years team lead or management experience.

  • Experience working with an internal sales team, ideally in a distribution organization.

  • A relevant third level business qualification.

  • Strong customer focus and ability to build lasting customer relationships.

  • Expertise in people management and leadership.

  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability.

  • Excellent computer skills (including Excel, Word, Outlook).


Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Managing the current commercial team

  • New business development – leading on new business opportunities to create value, target customers and build successful business relationships

  • Lead the commercial to deliver on company‘s sales strategy

  • Continue to embed a high-performance culture, valuing continuous professional development and opportunity.

  • Help to further develop the team by coaching, motivating, and inspiring
