Lead Manufacturing Engineer – Co Monaghan

Requirements or Skills:

• Extensive experience & knowledge of Production Control Management Systems

• Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent in engineering

• Experience of manufacturing environments

• Proven track record of people management

• Able to demonstrate leadership in both strategic and quality management in a global manufacturing organization

• Ability to govern progress to a detailed level and interpret system reports and Key Performance Indicators

• Ability to work with suppliers to improve overall levels of quality

Your main responsibilities will include:

• To develop and implement the process control management strategy in line with business standards.

• To develop and maintain systems to measure performance.

• To monitor performance according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.

• To establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of process control issues across all departments.

• To manage the scheduling function within the MDS site, including S&OP data and forecast entry, RTO planning, Brand communications, works order creation, MPS slotting, specifications changes and clear to build loading.

• To manage the Inventory function within the MDS site.

• To manage department performance against agreed targets through appraisal and review.

• To liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary.

• To weekly and monthly on absorbed hours, complete finance report card, OTD for production halls and RTO Planning.
