Title: HR/Learning and Development Specialist

Job Type: 12 Month Contract

Location: Co. Cavan

Our client is now seeking a HR/Learning and Development Specialist for a 12-month contract based in Co. Cavan. This position will support the business in delivering training programs to ensure employee development across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Assist all departments with development programs as required

• Actively participate in a facilitating, coaching, or consulting capacity during training and development programmes

• Conduct learning needs analysis and create learning plans for the business

• Manage and develop programmes that are needed from time to time in the areas of employee engagement, wellbeing, and mentoring

• Manage the introduction of new and existing learning technologies such as Learning Management Systems, eLearning Platforms and Learning Content

• Research alternative training solutions and provide recommendations to the business

• Organise training using digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programmes

• Monitor the effectiveness of learning that has been transferred to employees

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years‘ experience in Learning & Development, HR, or Organisational Development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Degree in HR, Training & Education, Business, or related disciplines

• Experience of managing programmes/projects

• Experience with L&D methods and implementing new training plans
