Job Title:Management Accountant

Salary: €50,000-€55,000

Location: Ballybrit, Galway- Office Based

Description of Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team in Ballybrit, Co Galway. Overseeing the Account Function for two offices with overall staff of 100. Someone who is system savvy, with strong commercial acumen, who is eager to grow your career in a fast-growing company under the guidance of the Finance Director.

Requirements:

• Qualified or part qualified accountant, perhaps wishing to make the practice to industry jump.

• Have proven experience in preparation of accounts.

• Commercially astute, technically fit, have strong administrative and IT skills, especially Excel.

• Have strong motivation and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.

• Have good attention to detail and accuracy of work.

• Have a positive & enthusiastic attitude and work well as part of a team.

• Have flexibility in approach to work. The role is hands on in nature.

• Have strong analytical and communication skills.

• Previous motor industry experience is an advantage but not a requirement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for comparison against budgets, highlighting and reporting variances including:

•    Balance Sheet reconciliation and investigation of any variances.

•    Revenue, revenue provision and bad debt provision analysis on an agree

• Preparation of monthly management accounts to Trial Balance

• Updating and reconciling nominal ledger accounts.

• Preparation of bank reconciliation’s on a Monthly basis.

• Assisting with the analysis of monthly activity and reconciliation of various accounts.

• Reconciliation of stocking accounts.

• Participating in various other activities as required.
