Description of Role:


Our client is now seeking a territory manager to join their medical sales team promoting a range of medical products and living aids with a key focus on rehabilitation and mobility.

This role has come about as a result of expansion of the team and the successful candidate will inherit a solid cohort of accounts to build upon. Our client are a well-established supplier within these product areas.

This position will suit a strong sales person with a keen interest in developing their career in medical sales. The role will involve selling into a broad customer group including, hospitals and primary care facilities, dealing with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, clinical nurse managers, public health nurses, procurement departments, clinical engineering etc.




  • Ideally candidates will have a 2-3 years medical sales experience, although our client will consider candidates with other tangible sales experience keen to move into the medical arena.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with clinical opinion leaders and decision makers.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently.

  • Customer and client focused with a willingness to go the extra mile.



Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver year-on-year sales growth by meeting and/or exceeding the annual sales plan.

  • Maintain and service existing business.

  • Building a sales pipeline and meeting strategic growth targets by identifying key growth and new business opportunities.

  • Develop and implement agreed strategies in all target accounts.

  • To train customers to use and understand our products and services to best practice and standards.

  • Conducting strategic reviews within the customer base for the largest and/or most strategically important accounts.

  • Participating in and providing support at relevant exhibitions, sales meetings, and other clinical/sales-related functions as requested and/or defined by management.

  • Taking ownership of customers and KOLs to ensure that a positive relationship is developed and maintained, with customer satisfaction paramount.

  • Developing territory management plans that identify and prioritise activities to achieve business goals.

  • Promoting a positive and professional company image internally and externally.

  • Completing all administration, reports & requests within guidelines & on time.

  • Attending international conferences and trade fairs as required.
