Description of Role:

Our client is now seeking a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will Report to the Senior Reporting Accountant.

This person will be responsible for the efforts and results of the accounting sections.

Requirements:

• Must be a Part Qualified Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)

• 2 – 3 years of experience of working in a financial accounting role required.

• Experience in Oracle desirable

• Excellent proficiency in Excel

• Interpersonal skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Computer skills, with understanding of data privacy standards

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the month end close process, prepare & post journals.

• Prepare VAT Liability reconciliation.

• Prepayments & Accruals

• Assist in the budgets process.

• Prepare variance analysis for month end.

• Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and reengineering of processes and controls and implementation of International &/or Global best practices.

• Assist the senior reporting accountant in adhoc duties, stakeholders and Board members.

• Assist with coordination of audit process.

• Perform ad hoc and special projects assignments, as required.

• Liaise with the head office group team in the UK in regard to reporting, central AP function.
