Partnership Development and Events Executive – Dublin – Remote

RecruitmentPlus has a fantastic opportunity for a Partnership Development and Events Executive to work with our client, a not-for-profit organisation based within education and training with offices globally.

 

This person will work full-time hours from home with travel for client visits and events as required.

The partnership development and events executive must be a confident, self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritise work, in order to grow and engage the members, deliver a sound value proposition and generate a culture of loyalty and long-term membership.

 

Principal Objective of Position

  • Establish effective relationships with members and key stakeholders in government, industry, education and other professional bodies

  • Building the representative body‘s membership base by attracting more individual members and corporate partners

  • Retaining the membership base by building value for members through events, training, and communication.

 

Main Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Devise and execute actions and activities that add value for members, including training opportunities, events, webinars, policy positions.

  • Recruit new individual members through well-structured new member recruitment campaigns

  • Recruit new corporate partners through well-structured recruitment campaigns, including direct engagement with potential partners

  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships at national and international level

  • Contribute to strategic business plan to deliver objectives efficiently, within budget including establishing measurable goals and managing internal and outsourced funded projects

  • Take key role in corporate governance processes

  • Contribute to creating marketing and information copy for websites and for other communication channels, including newsletters, social media and brochures

  • Contribute to members‘ community building activities

  • Maintain relationships with members and special interest groups

  • Represent organisation at external events

  • Contribute to an integrated team approach supporting the work of the organisation

 

Requirements:

  • Relationship and business development, particularly in a not-for-profit or educational environment

  • Delivering upon strategic objectives and driving change

  • Planning and executing events

  • Engaging with senior management and key stakeholders

  • Building value propositions for business development

  • Managing full cycle of business operations to build a membership community

  • Proposing professional and career development strategies

  • Strong track record of stakeholder management, nationally and internationally

  • High quality copy and content development

  • Experience in supervisory or junior management role

  • Experience in public affairs activities
