Product Specialist (Histology/Molecular Biology)

About Us:

RecruitmentPlus has an excellent opportunity for a Product Specialist based in Co Dublin. This is a joint sales/technical specialist role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for addressing product applications, instrument, and training issues.

• Asa part of a team responsible for sales of a defined product portfolio which is primarily our tissue pathology and related molecular products.

• Provide proactive on-site technical support and expertise to customers in the molecular diagnostics and tissue diagnostics field.

• Instruct customers in Advanced Operator Training.

• Perform follow up training and technical support for new and existing customers.

• Participate in industry forums and product Sales demonstrations.

Requirements or Skills:

• University graduate in any of following -Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences or related discipline.

• Preferably with knowledge and hands on experience in molecular pathology diagnostics and/or immunohistochemistry, special staining.

• Knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing would be an advantage.

• Previous Sales/Technical Support role and advantage but not essential

• Full Driving Licence Essential
