Recruitment Plus on behalf of our client are seeking a temporary Production Operative. The successful candidate will work as part of the production team reporting to the production supervisor. They will be responsible for carrying out general operational duties to support all areas of production.

Due to the location, it is essential you have your own transport.

Working hours – Monday – Friday 8.00am – 17.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 13.00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform any reasonable tasks as instructed by the Production Supervisor/Production Manager, working under their guidance

• Working to targets individually or part of a team

• Machine & hand tool operation

• Working in an industrial environment

• Cleaning of equipment/machines to maintain a good standard of general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment

• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience within the Engineering industry desirable but not essential

• Hard working with a can-do attitude

• Good eye for quality

• Material Handling desirable but not essential

• Abrasive wheel Certificate would be an advantage

• Good communicator, fluent in English

• Must be eligible to work in Ireland
