Description of Role:

Recruitment Plus on behalf of our clients is seeking Production Operative based in Co Monaghan. This is a temporary position with a view to a longer term for the right candidate.

Immediate start! Working hours 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out tasks in operating procedures and work instructions.

• Flexibility to cover varies roles in the plant. Training will be provided.

• Ensuring efficient use of plant and materials while keeping up to date records.

• Take part in training and development activities.

• To always adhere to food safety guidelines and compliance with all food safety legislation.

• Identify all unsafe equipment and practices in compliance with all safety regulations

• Ensure that housekeeping standards are met.

• Ensure effective communication within the department and with other departments, as necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment is desirable but not required.

• Previous food handling experience is desirable.

• Excellent attention to detail

• A team player with flexibility

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work on own initiative and multi-task.

• Own transport is required.
