RecruitmentPlus are delighted to be recruiting for a Project Engineer on behalf of our client, an internationally recognised leader within the fire protection industry who have just opened their own state of the art Design & Innovation Centre in Mullingar. Due to their successes they are expanding with big plans for the future, so now is an ideal time to come on-board!

The company specialise in design, manufacture, installation, servicing and commissioning so the roles offers fantastic industry exposure.

They are interested in speaking with engineers of all experience levels including graduates and those who don‘t have industry quals but have the working experience and knowledge. Therefore it‘s a perfect opportunity to learn, grow and/or advance with an organisation, they also welcome applications for those who prefer to work on contract.

Job Type: Full time, Permanent, Graduate, Contract

Salary: From €30,000 up dependent on experience.

Role / Core Responsibilities:

• Creating, adjusting and updating ACAD drawings

• Creating Hydraulic calculations using industry approved software

• Creating O&M Manuals

• Planning project programmes/scheduling

• Preparing submittals

• Pricing supplier parts for quotes & ordering

• Liaise with customers on site to arrange services and extra works

Requirements / Skills:

• A relevant third level qualification in project management or engineering desirable but not required as relevant working experience will also be considered

• Have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft package & familiar with ACAD and 3D design packages

• Able to communicate effectively with customers in order to represent the company

• Ideally have drivers licence and own transport

• Strong analytical and technical skills

• Able to work under pressure to achieve project deadlines whilst maintaining adherence to process disciplines

• An organised and dedicated individual who enjoys a busy environment

• Able to work accurately while being able to, and enjoy, working to targets and deadlines

• Able to work off own initiative and complete day to day tasks, both independently and within a team

• Fluency in the English language and eligibility to work in Ireland
