Based in state-of-the-art facilities in a commutable area in Dublin West, and offers hybrid working.
To be successful in this role you will have a background in managing projects from beginning to end with a focus on effective communication across multiple sites. At least 2 years previous experience in product development is required with an understanding of manufacturing processes, and be able to work with a range of stakeholders to achieve innovative developments.

Role / Core Responsibilities:

Using knowledge of company & industry product offerings to co-develop cost-effective solutions on new business opportunities that meet the safety, regulatory and performance requirements of the customer

Listening to, understanding, and accurately capturing user requirements
-
Managing the completion of new business RFQ responses, including technical & compliance evaluations, design documentation, and cost estimates, coordinating and working with designers and other team members to ensure a timely & satisfactory response customers

Identifying and leading execution of component and assembly testing & validation activities

Managing the execution of prototype and sample builds, new tool and/or process development, and validations

Leading launches of new business to supported manufacturing plants across the globe

Manage multiple concurrent projects, from Concept-to-Final Design

Promotes a safe working environment, complies with proper use of PPE, reports incidents, and participates in safety training

Exhibits good environmental practices and procedures consistent with job(s) performed and EMS (Environmental Management System) requirements
Requirements:
-
Degree qualified in Mechanical / Chemical / Biomedical / Plastics Engineering
-
3-5 years previous experience in a Project Engineer or Project Management role, to include product development & general Engineering / Manufacturing/ Project Management with defect investigation, problem solving and reporting. Develop, manage timelines and budgets.

Previous experience in Bioprocessing, molding, extrusion and compounding of TPEs, TPUs and/or silicones is desirable

Able to work closely with internal departments and external customers regarding products and applications, giving clear direction on the design for their project to both technical and non-technical employees

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication throughout all levels of the organisation. Be able to communicate very technical concepts to simple topics.

Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Be an experienced user of CAD with mechanical design skills.

A valid drivers licence is required & able to travel overseas if required.
