Location – Sandyford – Office Based
Salary: €40-45k depending on experience

Our client are now looking for a Purchasing & Trade Administrator operating within the purchasing & commercial department.
This role may suit a strong administrator with experience dealing with suppliers, customers and logistics, who is looking to carve a career in purchasing.
The ideal candidate:

3 years‘ experience in a purchasing administration or a similar role.

Experience dealing with suppliers, customers and logistics.
-
Highly numerate with attention to detail.

Highly organised, good communicator and team worker.
-
Self-motivated, dedicated, hardworking and flexible.
-
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be a distinct advantage.
-
Knowledge of purchasing systems and experience of retail multiples would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the duties of this role will include:
Purchasing administration

The preparation, processing, assist with the forecasting of purchase orders.

Ensure accurate verification of purchase orders and invoices, ensuring all information is correctly entered into the internal system. Highlight and address any discrepancies, such as price, vintage, barcodes, or formats.

Transferring new product forms from brand owners to setting up new products on internal system, along with updating and adding SKU extensions.

Dealing with & building relationships with our international suppliers.

Organizing and collaborating with shipping agents in the collection and delivery of purchase orders to our warehouse.

The preparation of monthly reports for the accounts team and external parties.

Administering clear reports of all arrivals.

Dealing with additional administrative/clerical adhoc duties as they arise.
Trade administration
-
Management of Off Trade administration with critical focus on all pricing, promotion submission and communication. Forecasting and analysis are also key elements to the role.

Setting up and monitoring Off Trade customer pricing & maintain price bands & group promotional activities

Manage other reporting tasks and miscellaneous duties to include Off-Trade reports, account & brand reviews.

Prepare Off Trade customer reviews and proposal presentation using PowerPoint
