Requirements:

• Bachelor‘s degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline.

• Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment desirable but not essential.

• Working knowledge of ISO systems & auditing experience.

• Champion the customer‘s requirements at all times.

• Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving skills and a good eye for detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative where required.

• Be enthusiastic, effective, passionate, and productive. Show dedication to the job in hand, and work hard to deliver it efficiently.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation for audits and recertification, particularly ISO standards 9001, 14001, 18001 & 37301.

• To support daily routine management and auditing of Quality Assurance activities within production areas and support production managers in “Right First Time” shop floor quality control.

• Representative for site in weekly Quality meetings review.

• Investigate customer complaints to identify the root cause and design and implement corrective and preventative actions.

• To support daily routine management and auditing of Health & Safety / Environmental activities on site, Site point of contact for the HSA & EPA.

• Investigate Safety / Environmental issues, Incident recording and reporting, to identify the root cause and design and implement corrective and preventative actions.

• Point of contact for the shop Floor safety representatives and champion Monthly Safety meetings, responsible for setting up a committee with the staff to action issues raised.

• Fire protection, auditing log in and out procedures, coordination of evacuation protocols & drills.

• Environmental testing, Exposure testing, Waste notification reporting, Workplace testing noise etc.

• Update and create new SOPs & Risk Assessments in response to process changes and improvements, on site champion for the change control process.

• On site point of contact / representative for Product Compliance Audits and Meetings / Action Plans.

• Operating in compliance with ISO 37301, 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001, and Code of Conduct.

• Other duties as required.
