RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our successful client have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Technician to join the team due to growth. To be successful in this role you should have previous experience working with a Quality Management System and carrying out audits with a desire to continue learning and advancing.

Requirements:

• Have previous experience working in an ISO Quality Management System (ideally ISO13485) manufacturing environment to GMP requirements would be an advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and administration skills with ability to interact effectively with auditors, customers and suppliers.

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment.

• Strong research and problem-solving skills. Disciplined in collecting information and supporting root cause investigation for non-conformances.

• Excellent PC skills with a strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint software packages.

• Process & Equipment Validation Qualification and advantage.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate the quality management system and performance.

• Review, compile and analyse quality data.

• Instruments, gauges etc calibrations / verifications and report any discrepancies.

• Identify non-conformances and quality issues, report them to management and assist in root cause investigation and implementation of corrective actions.

• Develop and draft Standard Operating Procedures and Controlled Documents plus manage Change Control requests and train up relevant staff on new and revised Quality System requirements arising from this.

• Support and participate in all audits – customer, regulatory authority, and internal audits.

• Report to management and communicate with customers and suppliers on all matters pertaining to quality, ensuring that customer requirements are determined and are met.

• Facilitate the promotion of awareness of regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organisation.

• Assisting with the preparations for the Management Review meetings and preparing of relevant reports, schedules, etc.

• Preparing certificates of conformity.

• Support Process & Equipment Validation projects.

• Support the development and continuous improvement of quality and production related processes and procedures.
