Refrigeration Engineer

RecruitmentPlus has an excellent opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer to join our client‘s team, based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance and repair of equipment, mostly refrigeration units and aircon.

• Work closely with maintenance team to ensure prompt delivery of service.

• Assist in planning and scheduling of maintenance.

• Ensure all company Health and Safety guidelines are followed.

• Be available for on-call cover one week out of twelve.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve faults in equipment and ancillary services.

• Record and investigate issues, perform route cause analysis, and communicate to maintenance team.

• Co-operate fully with training and development.

• Maintain a high-level standard of service to clients.

Skills/Requirements:

• 4+ years‘ experience as a Refrigeration Engineer/AirCon Engineer.

• Refrigeration qualified preferable but other relevant engineering qualification accepted.

• FGas Cetification is highly desirable.

• Previous refrigeration or relevant mechanical equipment service & repair experience. Experience in Plumbing/Electrical work will also be considered.

• Proficient in fault finding, diagnostics and repair.
