RecruitmentPlus has an excellent opportunity for a Regional Material Handler based in Co. Louth. This is a permanent position that offers flexibility around your start/finish times working day shift only Monday – Friday.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global organisation locally in Dundalk. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working collaboratively and independently to ensure all job tasks are completed. You will be based on a customer manufacturing site and so will be the representative of your employer, as such excellent customer service and a desire to succeed is required.

Requirements or Skills:

• Secondary School Leaving Certificate.

• Experience working in a warehouse or inventory role is essential.

• Full driving licence and able to drive a company van.

• Experience with Microsoft Office would be beneficial.

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus to deliver excellent customer service including maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

• Operating skills to use handheld scanners and learn to enter data in various systems are vital.

• Confident and comfortable working independently as part of a larger team.

• Good organization and time management skills.

• Displays a high level of confidentiality.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Perform Point of use cycle stock count and the investigation of stock discrepancies.

• Perform additional inventory management related functions.

• Receives inbound deliveries daily.

• Investigate and action delivery discrepancies accordingly.

• Facilitate orders for consumable inventory replenishment by entering replenishment orders into the system based on the business requirements.

• Manage inbound deliveries, handling hazardous materials in accordance with health and safety processes, and handling the stock put-away operation.

• Performs all customer site specific tasks as per relevant customer SOW and customer SOP‘s.

• Face to face customer interaction daily and assisting in dealing with customer product queries.
