Senior Retail Sales Associate – Dublin 14

€30k + depending on experience

Full time permanent

• Our client are a leading retailer for outdoor garden lifestyle solutions, such as garden furniture, kitchens, BBQs, awnings, and structures.

• They currently have an opportunity for an experienced retail floor salesperson who will be passionate, focussed and driven to provide excellence in customer service.

• You will have high standards, pay attention to detail and be described as courteous, mature and a team player. You must be self-motivated and be able to work on your own initiative.

• The successful candidate will learn a great deal about a retail shop floor and also bring the value of their knowledge and experience and will have heart, a passion for success and help others achieve it too.

Your Main responsibilities will be:

• Answering customer queries in a friendly and informed manner

• Oversee the sales floor staff roster, always ensuring cover

• Ensure all staff are fully versed on all products / pricing / availability etc.

• Ensure sales targets and KPIs are achieved

• Coordinate with management regarding commercial enquiries

• Responsibility for managing any customer service issues to ensure a prompt and satisfactory resolution

• Ensure all items are clearly and accurately priced in a timely manner

• Engage with management / staff regarding promotions / campaigns etc

• Manage window displays with changing trends / seasons

• Ensure all items are presented for sale in the best possible way

• Coordinate with office manager re stock ordering and purchase deliveries

• Customers meet and greet and ensure customer experience is positive

• Oversee the process of all sales orders through to completion

• Capture customer information for marketing

• Coordinate with purchasing manager and logistics team re incoming stock

• Liaise with warehouse / logistics team re customer delivery schedules

• Help resolve any stock availability issues between branches

The Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years‘ experience in a busy customer facing role within retail

• Similar product experience an advantage but not essential

• Possess excellent communication skills
