Our client are a leading provider of online accounting software in Ireland are seeking a Technical Support Executive to join their growing Technical Support Team. If you have prior experience with ERP systems and enjoy problem-solving in a dynamic environment, wed love to hear from you!

 

Your Role:

As a Technical Support Executive, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing top-tier support for our client‘s software systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1st-level technical support, troubleshooting software-related queries.

  • Accurately log customer queries in the helpdesk system and ensure timely resolution.

  • Escalate complex issues to Senior Support Executives, Support Manager, or Development Team when necessary.

  • Analyse problem descriptions, log files, and configurations to determine root causes and provide effective solutions.

  • Take full ownership of support issues, acting as the primary liaison between customers and the company.

  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

  • Test new software releases, report bugs, and provide valuable feedback to the development team.

 

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience working with ERP software (essential).

  • Strong customer service and technical support background.

  • Ability to work within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), with SQL Server Management and PowerShell experience being a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.

  • A team player with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

  • Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally.
