Trainee Field Support Technician – Renewable Energy – S010552

Recruitment Plus is looking for a Trainee Field Support Technician our Louth based client, an expanding renewable energy company.

The Trainee Field Support Technician will support new and existing heat pumps installations and commissioning and will ideally have a plumbing background. This is an exciting opportunity for a beginner Support Technician to join an organisation that is currently experiencing strong growth and expansion.

This permanent, full-time role is based from company‘s Head Office in Louth which is commutable from Louth, Meath, Dublin North and parts of Monaghan.

Key responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot installed equipment to identify and correct technical problems (mechanical, electronic, operational)

• Assist with system commissioning and installations

• Carry out system repairs and maintenance

• Provide customer training on system while developing positive customer relationships

• Assume full responsibility for customer satisfaction and deadlines for every service delivered

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in plumbing / field service ideally within renewable energy / heatpumps

• Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge

• Responsible professional with strong communication skills and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Experience using a structured support process

• Proven track record in producing relevant report material

• Clean full drivers licence.

• Company vehicle and mobile phone provided

• Salary negotiable depending on experience
