RecruitmentPlus are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Training Manager on behalf of our client, are a leading pharmaceutical organisation who operate across Europe and ship to almost 50 countries globally.

This position is a key role for the business and the successful candidate will work closely with management to take ownership of employee training to multiple regulations including EHS, GMP, GDP and Food Safety Standards. As such, demonstrable previous experience of delivering successful training programmes within these parameters is required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a training plan & manual to demonstrate competency of all staff across the business including processing, packaging, testing, receiving, distributing Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical product in accordance with EHS, GMP, GDP and Food Safety standards.

  • Process mapping of training process, completion of story board for same and risk assessment of training process based on agreed metrics and audit review.

  • Manage metrics associated with Training and competency assessments and review performance to key site metrics established for the business to demonstrate control.

  • Work closely with each function manager, staff and training administrators to ensure that training and competency assessments are completed to demonstrate capability of the organisation to carry out tasks in controlled and effective manner.

  • Identify key training programs and facilitators (internal and external) for key training modules and co-ordinate delivery, examples including Train the trainer, Data Integrity, GMP, EHS.

  • Develop effective training program for new joiners that establish baseline competency for EHS, GMP and site policies.

  • Ownership of Training Matrix and identification of SME‘s who require training working with SOP authors to establish same. Working with training administrators and departmental owners to ensure training matrixes.

  • Always ensure that you take care of your health and safety and that of others by complying with health and safety obligations, particularly by reporting promptly any defects, risks or potential hazards.

  • Ensure all staff are placed onto a GMP Training Schedule at a defined timepoint stated in the Training SOP to ensure re-training.
