Van Sales Merchandiser

RecruitmentPlus has an exciting new opportunity for a Van Sales Merchandiser for our client, a leading non-food-based wholesaler.

This is a full-time permanent role requiring a full clean B licence.

Hours: Monday to Friday working between 7.30am – 5.00pm

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and merchandise orders in retail stores and build strong relationships with customers.

• Understand customers needs, maximise sales and upsell where possible.

• To check and complete all invoices and paperwork on time and within specification;

• To complete daily checks on your vehicles and load;

• To be able to plan most efficient delivery routes;

Qualifications:

• Holder of a full clean B category driving licence;

• Minimum of 1 year previous FMCG retail or wholesale experience;

• Utilize handheld device to update delivery details;

• Manual handling certificate preferable

• Display excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;

• Be a highly motivated individual who can work to set deadlines;

• Be a team player with ability to work on own initiative;

• Possess good problem-solving skills;

• Excellent location knowledge of North East.

• Good written, oral and communication skills.
