RecruitmentPlus has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to work with our client based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. The successful candidate will manage the warehouses and distribution department efficiently and effectively.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Senior Management team to deliver results.

• Ensure clear lines of communication with Suppliers and third-party contacts and that all issues are logged and escalated to Senior Management

• Maintain a high level of presence in the Stores areas and take an active interest in supporting the warehouse and logistics teams.

• Encourage employee engagement, actively promoting continuous improvement, and skill and knowledge development to help them reach their full potential.

• Facilitate communication between production, planning, sales and distribution providing an efficient customer supply chain.

• Provide effective Leadership for the Stores teams providing direction and guidance to support the achievement of Department goals.

• Ensure there is role clarity across Stores and Logistics and that all members understand their roles, responsibilities, accountabilities and expectations for themselves and their team, and that the whole Team is motivated to succeed.

• Leads the Warehousing support function responsible for capacity, Warehouse systems, Warehouse planning, and audit preparations.

• Manages the planning and scheduling activities for warehouse operations.

• Responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies across the site.

• Oversees the development, revision, review, and approval of all Standard Operating Procedures that are owned by the Warehouse.

Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and supply chain role with evidence of consistent achievement of targets.

• Previous experience of team leadership and supervision and inventory control.

• Proficient user in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Working knowledge of stock control / purchasing systems

• Knowledge of conflict resolution.

• Considerable Organization skills.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring, and ability to set goals for teams.

• Numeracy and literacy sufficient to maintain accurate and legible records and to understand the significance of numerical data and communicate effectively in writing.
