RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client have an excellent opportunity to join a successful manufacturing business on a permanent basis as Cleaning / Hygiene Operative.

This is a Monday to Friday role working 8.30am to 5pm.

Due to location you will most likely need your own transport.

Requirements:

• Ability to carry out duties as required

• Previous experience of cleaning in a similar environment would be an advantage

• Follow all H&S and company policy and procedures

• A team player who can work independently and with others

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedule and sign-off on completion

• Cleaning, hoovering washing of equipment, machinery surfaces & floors

• Inspection of equipment to ensure that it is clean and fit for purpose

• Usage & storage of cleaning materials

• Organising & inspection of waste skips and ensuring waste is handled effectively.

• Raise any issues for if the cleaning schedule cannot be completed

• Other cleaning and ad hoc duties may be requested & carried out as required by Management

• Correct PPE to be worn at all times

• H&S issues to be reported immediately

• Leaks and reoccurring spillages to be reported immediately
