Job Title: Warehouse Shipment Planner / Forklift Operative

Salary: €35 – €40k DOE

RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client have an excellent opportunity to join the team in an interesting role that requires the ability to plan and co-ordinate shipments using a computer (training provided on system) and then use the forklift to load trailers.

This is a night shift position working Monday – Friday 12 midnight to 9am. No weekends.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in load or route planning is and advantage.

• Forklift certification and/or practical experience operating forklifts.

• Good computer skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle night shifts.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, organisational abilities with great attention to detail.

• Good geographical knowledge of Ireland, in particular Louth and Monaghan.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate loads for delivery, ensuring optimal use of fleet resources.

• Manage and track shipment schedules using logistics software.

• Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

• Use forklifts to assist with loading/unloading.

• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Maintain accurate records of loads, inventories, and schedules.
