This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, curious and ready to build hands-on experience in purchasing, logistics and supply chain operations. As the Purchasing & Logistics Assistant, you will help keep orders, stock information and deliveries moving smoothly between the company, their suppliers and warehouse partners. You will be part of a busy, practical team where accuracy matters, ideas are welcome and a can-do attitude makes a real difference.
Key role responsibilities:

Raising and updating inventory purchase orders, supplier confirmations and order amendments.
-
Keeping order, delivery, stock movement and supplier communication records accurate and up to date.
-
Tracking inbound and outbound shipments and following up quickly on delays, discrepancies or service issues.
-
Working with suppliers, warehouses, carriers and internal teams to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
-
Helping reconcile stock records against physical counts, delivery notes and system information.
-
Preparing and updating reports on stock levels, purchase orders and delivery performance.
-
Maintaining data in ERP and internal systems so the team can rely on accurate, current information.
-
Making sure documents are complete, easy to find and aligned with our internal procedures and compliance requirements.
-
Collaborating with finance, customer service and warehouse teams to solve problems and keep things moving.
Skills and attributes:
-
A positive, can-do attitude and a curious mindset – you enjoy learning how things work and making them better.
-
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle tasks, follow up and meet deadlines.
-
Good attention to detail and pride in getting the small things right.
-
Confidence communicating with different people, both inside and outside the business.
-
A proactive approach to problem-solving – if something is stuck, you are willing to ask questions, follow up and help find a solution.
-
Comfort working with numbers, data and reporting.
-
Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook.
-
Experience using ERP, inventory or purchasing systems would be helpful, but they are happy to support the right person to learn.
-
The ability to work independently while also being a positive, reliable team player.
-
An interest in procurement, logistics, stock control or supply chain operations. Training will be provided.

Some experience in administration, procurement, logistics, inventory or customer support would be useful.
-
A qualification or course in business, supply chain, logistics, procurement or a related area would be an advantage.
