Corporate Affairs Manager

Job Title: Corporate Affairs Manager

Reporting to: The Regulator

Grade: Higher Executive Officer

The Regulator wishes to recruit a Corporate Affairs Manager at Higher Executive Officer grade. This person will lead a small team of staff (3) who deal with the Corporate Affairs functions in the ORNL to include the day to day control and management of Human Resources, Facilities Management, Procurement, IT, Risk Management, Health and Safety and all Corporate Governance matters.

The person will be responsible for developing and updating policies and procedures across the organisation in line with best practice and legislative changes to ensure effective systems are in place to support day to day operations and good governance across the ORNL.

The Corporate Affairs Manager is also actively involved in the PMDS process and training of staff as required. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Corporate Affairs Manager is required to dynamically contribute to the overall direction and effectiveness of the work of the ORNL.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3 years’ experience of working in a similar role. Candidates must be able to demonstrate in their written application that they meet at least three of the criteria identified in the information booklet for this role at the link below.

Corporate Affairs Officer

Job Title: Corporate Affairs Officer

Reporting to: Corporate Affairs Manager

Grade: Executive Officer

This is a varied role, supporting the Regulator in her commitment to strong governance and value for money and implementing more efficient and effective ways of doing things now and in future.  The role will have a strong emphasis on the ongoing requirement to tender/retender for services supporting the office in its function, as well as the purchase of goods as the need arises and administration of requests for regulatory approval received from the operator of the National Lottery.  In addition, you will support the Regulator in the implementation of her Strategy Statement for 2022 to 2024 and well as the management of a variety projects as they arise.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Capable of taking ownership of tasks and correctly analysing numerical and other data to inform balanced decision making as identified in the information booklet for this role at the link below.
