Description of Role:

Our client are a well-established practice who are seeking someone who is either a qualified accountant or who has some experience and is working towards a qualification, to join their team.

They have a strong practice with many different practice areas and lots of opportunity to learn.

Everyone works closely together and supports each other.

There is good client contact with the role, as they seek to provide a personal service to their clients.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in audit work is desirable, as well as good working knowledge of bookkeeping and double entry accounting.

• The accountant / part-qualified accountant should be an organised self-starter and have good time management skills, as well as a desire to learn and be interested in finding solutions to problems which you may be presented with.

• You should be willing to listen to and learn from others while also helping out colleagues as needed.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

The role is general and varied in nature and will involve audit, accounts preparation, tax returns and other practice areas.
