Job Title: Forklift / General Operative

Salary: €18 p/hr incl. shift allowance, Monday to Friday day and evening shifts only!

RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client have an excellent role to join a fantastic local organisation as Forklift Driver or General Operative. Initially temporary basis for circa 8 weeks with potential to go longer. Immediate starts available and paid weekly.

Great rotating working shift – Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm and Friday 8am – 3pm, then Monday to Thursday 4pm to midnight and Friday 3pm – 10pm, rotating weekly.

Requirements:

• Previous operative experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment desirable

• For Forklift role must have valid counter balance forklift licence

• Valid Manual Handling Certificate desirable

• Have excellent attention to detail and be a team player with flexibility

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work on own initiative and multi task

• Ideally immediate availability

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the team to carry out all aspects of production

• Operating machines correctly and in a safe manner

• Pack products efficiently ensuring that products are up to standard

• Safe operation of forklift to move/stack product

• Any other duties within the factory as required
