Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Fertility Nurse to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Fertility Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Nurse Manager and collaborating with other medical professionals to deliver high-quality care to their patients.

Essential Candidate Requirements:

• Registered Nurse/Midwife or eligibility to register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses/Midwives maintained by NMBI.

• Diploma or Degree relevant to the position.

• Minimum 5 years of post-registration experience in Midwifery/Gynaecology IVF/infertility.

• Experience in performing ultrasound scanning, especially Antral Follicle Counts, is advantageous.

• Broad base of clinical skills including procedure room, recovery, outpatient clinic, and day ward.

• Ability to perform ultrasound and experience with embryo transfer and Intra-Uterine Inseminations (IUI) is preferred.

• Utilize evidence-based best practices in performing specific clinical skills such as embryo transfer procedures, ultrasound scans, and oocyte collection procedures.

• Facilitate patient education and understanding of treatment procedures.

• Recognize and care for at-risk patients, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.

• Provide compassionate support to patients undergoing treatment, including facilitating pregnancy testing and offering empathy during times of loss.

• Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of patient care.

• Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring they are informed and counselled regarding their treatment needs.

• Demonstrate motivation for professional self-development.
