Theatre Nurse at Leading Fertility Clinic in Ireland

Our client, a renowned fertility clinic in Ireland, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Theatre Nurse to join their dynamic team.

As a Theatre Nurse at you will play a crucial role in our patient’s fertility treatment journey. You will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating for various surgical procedures related to fertility treatment, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients throughout their time in the operating theatre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrubbing and circulating for surgical procedures related to fertility treatment, including egg retrieval and embryo transfer

• Assisting the surgical team in maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to infection control protocols

• Providing compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless coordination of patient care

Requirements:

• Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in peri-operative nursing, preferably in a fertility clinic or related setting

• Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating for surgical procedures, with a strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control principles

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients undergoing fertility treatment

• Flexibility to work variable shifts as required, including evenings and weekends
